Amazon Prime Expands Whole Foods Discounts to 10 More States

Prime members shopping at a Whole Foods store can download the store's mobile app and sign in with their Amazon account. The savings include an extra 10% off hundreds of sale items throughout the store along with exclusive offers on a range of products.

Starting this Wednesday, June 13, Whole Foods stores in 10 additional states - including Amazon's home state of Washington - will offer new 10 percent discounts on sale items and other special deals to Amazon Prime members.

Organic yellow nectarines and peaches, $1.99/lb., save $2/lb. Amazon Prime members also get free, same-day shipping on many goods (in select areas), on-demand Prime Video and Prime Music streaming, and free Kindle books.

Amazon and Whole Foods said Prime member deals will be featured prominently in stores. From there you can show the in-app Prime Code at checkout or enter your phone number to save. It's also the newest perk for Prime members at Whole Foods, which includes free two-hour delivery in some cities and 5% back on purchases when using the Amazon Prime Visa card. Delivery from Whole Foods is available in 10 cities and is slated to expand to more cities this year.
