DICE Partners with NVIDIA for Battlefield V PC; Pre-Order Details Revealed

The acclaimed single-player campaign mode from Battlefield 1, War Stories, returns for Battlefield V. Witness the conflict through the eyes of men and women of World War 2 and experience untold stories of human drama, filled with Battlefield moments.

Curiously, BFV doesn't seem to have a battle royale mode.

Dice mentions there is a renewed movement system in Battlefield V with new animations, little was shared about it.

There's an update to operations now and it is called "grand operations" that will be taking players on a tour across different game modes on multiple maps. Ultimately, the current popularity surrounding the gameplay type could potentially lose momentum and favor with fans as time marches on, which would cause developers to have unnecessarily dedicated time and resources to the mode if the studio chose to move ahead with its addition.

DICE isn't new to the live service model that keeps players together with free content. Star Wars Battlefront II has been doing that since late previous year, and recently launched the Han Solo season, bringing even more maps, modes, and customization options to players.

Battlefield V multiplayer aims to deliver the most immersive gameplay of the franchise in a sandbox environment that portrays the battles of World War 2, allowing players to feel the force of the fight and truly shape the war as the war shapes them. I'm not sure if this is the actual single-player component or not, but there was a descriptor of "Evolving Live Service Journey" that made me a little tired.

Battlefield V will be heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC. That being said, we won't be surprised if a battle royale mode is added down the line to compete with other games. Pre-ordering Battlefield V will grant early access to the open beta. These are prices for the digital variants of the game on the Microsoft Store. It comes with the following content.

The company used the same style of rolling release date with Battlefield 1 so the announcement was expected.

Five sets of paratrooper outfits containing weapon skins, camo patterns, head gear, and face paint for British Special Air Service and German Airborne troops.

Battlefield V will be available worldwide October 19th.

New to Battlefield 5 is the Company, your "personalized collection of customized soldiers, weapons, and vehicles that you can tailor and grow as you play". Let us know in the comments.
