The White House on Thursday jumped in on the "Yanny vs. Laurel" audio debate and it turns out President Trump doesn't hear either of the names that have split the nation.

But the internet did not rest on its yannys (or laurels. depending.) when it comes to media which plays tricks on the mind.

Trump past year sent a tweet that ended with the word "covfefe," which quickly went viral before it was deleted.

The collective sensory experiment causing a Twitter tizzy mushroomed from a short audio clip originally published by a high school student on Reddit.
