Fortnite to Finally Add Jetpacks?

Fortnite to Finally Add Jetpacks?

Fortnite Battle Royale is arguably the biggest game in the market right now and it just keeps getting bigger.

Unlike the game's previous limited time modes, such as the recent introduction of Thanos in the Avengers: Infinity War crossover event, Solo Showdown does not change the core Fortnite Battle Royale gameplay.

The folder only contains a solo variant, which either means this is what the mode is going to be, or that Epic Games will simply roll out competitive solo first before it expands it to duos and squads.

Only the first 50 Solo Showdown matches will count towards the score for each player, and at least 50 needs to be completed to be eligible for a prize.

In addition to the ongoing 50v50 event, Epic has kicked off a new limited-time mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Here are all the details you need to know about the Fortnite Solo Showdown limited time event. Upon the conclusion of each match, you'll earn a number of points based upon your final positioning. If you're placed 51 through 100, you'll get 7,500, which will normally set you back $60.

The player who comes in first by the end of the competition will take home a whopping 50,000 V-Bucks. Yeah, Fortnite always tracked your performance across matches, but now it's putting its V-Bucks where its stats are. Up to and including 50th will receive 13,500 V-Bucks.

For the competitor to get 1st place, 50,000 V-Bucks awaits. You'll get 100 points for a win, down to 25 for finishing in the bottom quarter of players. For now, the Solo Showdown is live and will stay up until Monday, May 21, at 10 a.m. ET.

Aside from Jetpacks, the aforementioned datamine also possibly uncovered even more content to come to Fortnite during Season 4, with a Competitive Mode on the way, as well as a slew of new skins, pickaxes, and gliders.
