Kristen Stewart Just Broke All The Red Carpet Rules At Cannes

The Twilight actress wore black Louboutin heels as she arrived at the BlacKkKlansman premiere.

As reported by the Telegraph, Kristen Stewart was attending the premiere of her movie BlacKkKlansman when she chose to ditch her black Louboutins and walk up the stairs barefoot.

The actress, who in the recent years earned the moniker Queen of Cannes, isn't representing a film at the 2018 festival.

Even though multiple Cannes officials have denied that the high heel policy exists, Kristen Stewart seemingly believes that it does. "If you don't ask guys to wear a dress and heels, you can't ask me too", said not hiding his bisexuality, the actress in an interview previous year. Although, she struggled to walk in the lavish dress and got her heel caught on the trail. You can not come in.' Then (I'm going to say), 'Neither is my friend.

Kristen Stewart told the Hollywood Reporter a year ago:"If you're not asking guys to wear heels and a dress, you can not ask me either".

"I feel like you can't ask people that any more - it's a given".

Emily Blunt also protested this rule and spoke out against it saying that everyone should wear flats and shouldn't wear heels.

And speaking to the Hollywood Reporter a year ago about the Cannes ban on flat shoes, she said: "There's definitely a distinct dress code, right?"

Stewart may not be a big fan of high heels, but she did keep her Louboutins on for a few Cannes red carpet photos.

Zynnell Zuh, James Gardiner, Benedicta Gafah and Bibi Bright graced the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival but failed to match up to style standards.

Away from the footwear controversy, the screening attended by Kristen Stewart proved to be a success story at Cannes.
