Ronda Rousey vs Nia Jax Set For Money In The Bank

When we last saw her compete on WWE TV, she teamed with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to defeat Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania.

Jax spoke about the match as well saying Rousey will be a unique opponent.

This comes as a shock to many who thought WWE may hold off on a Rousey title run until WrestleMania 35 next year, after taking time to build "The Baddest Woman on the Planet". Rousey has also never had a singles match in her career.

Since Jax is the RAW Women's Champion, it's hard not to believe that the title won't be on the line.

Also announced for MITB, Shinsuke "kick him in the" Nakamura will once again face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship. Still, after some prodding by Jax and Charlotte Flair, Rousey accepts the challenge before the three laugh their way off camera.

Money in the Bank will air live Sunday, June 17. It looks like Rousey will get a title shot at Money In The Bank. "All bets are off, right?"

Well, with the pair appearing in New York City just hours ago, it's very unlikely that either female will be on RAW tonight - but the match is official with WWE.com asking, "Can Rousey unseat the imposing Jax and win her first title in WWE?".

The goal, according to both women, is to uplift the women's division and to show wrestling fans that women have "more to offer" today than they ever did before. She's one of a kind, so there definitely has to be an alternation to my regimen and I'm looking forward to it. Glad to say I got to see this up close!
