'Minecraft' Bedrock Update Coming to Nintendo Switch in June

Players of Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition will soon have the ability to join their friends that play on opposing platforms.

Metanet Software's series of platform games, simply called N, may not be the most popular video game franchise, but it's actually had three major entries, which have been released on a wide variety of different systems.

Independent developer Over The Moon has announced that its award-winning sci-fi adventure, The Fall, is now available on the Nintendo Switch via the eShop. You can purchase unique maps, skins, and texture packs from various creators within the massive Minecraft community. It will fold in the Better Together update that added cross-platform play to other consoles previous year, as well as exclusive "Super Mario"-themed content that originally appeared in the Wii U version of "Minecraft".

N++ is a fast-paced, momentum-based platformer where you get to play as a badass parkour-loving ninja, narrowly escaping enemies and collecting gold in sci-fi landscapes.

It's out with the old and in with the new for Minecraft on Nintendo Switch. Minecraft will also support the Nintendo Switch Online paid membership when it launches in September, as well as Xbox Live achievements and Gamerscore.
