WhatsApp afflicted by new text bug causing app and phone crashes

WhatsApp afflicted by new text bug causing app and phone crashes

The sticker feature is not yet available to those who have not signed up to the beta program but it is expected to enabled in the next release, as per the report by WaBetaInfo.

In a report featured on WAbeta Info, the domain is a short link of api.whatsapp.com and can be used to quickly open a chat in WhatsApp. As you will have understood, the problem does not concern WhatsApp but Android.

Every time you use wa.me, WhatsApp checks if you are trying to open a chat with an existing WhatsApp user.

How does this new feature work? . Simply avoid these type of text messages or use another messaging app.

According to Reddit threads and YouTube videos, the message arrives in an assortment of structures and works by concealing a pack of characters that at that point get extended when you tap the message. The Facebook-owned app has neither commented on the potentially disruptive bug so far nor rolled out any updates to prevent the platform from crashing.

Even though this bug is a new and it hasn't been going around for that long, the Android and iOS WhatsApp community is outraged. This feature will allow the user to send two emojis together at one time. The feature groups two stickers in a row and the report adds that WhatsApp is now working to improve the Sticker feature before its public release. This is said to be in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which will be introduced by the European Union (EU) in May. The recently launched business-oriented service for small businesses was started by the company in January for Android users only. Under the Account settings, WhatsApp users will see a new option called Request account info.

WhatsApp is the world's most popular messaging app because of the premium features that it offers. These messages contain some sort of text such as a clickbait title that's created to make people click on it.
