Pete Lau shares camera samples from OnePlus 6

OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 6 in the next few days, however, the company is yet to announce the exact timeline of the launch.

Accompanying the tweet is a short clip of water splashing off a hard surface.

OnePlus India on its official Twitter handle has confirmed the presence of water resistance on the OnePlus 6.

That said, I can't help but wonder whether we'll be getting notch-related OnePlus 6 teasers in the near future. Nevertheless, the images of the textured buildings, trees and flowers reveal high levels of detail, while a close up image of some tulips shows some slight blurring to the background, could this be the OnePlus 6's portrait mode? "So do we", hinting OnePlus 6 will have water resistance.

This is a welcome move considering the fact that OnePlus, which proclaims to produce flagship killer phone, lacked this water durability feature to date.

What do you make of the first set of images taken with the OnePlus 6? Thankfully, it is making amends with the OnePlus 6. That's going to change on their upcoming OnePlus 6 according to its latest teaser.

OnePlus 6 will have a notch on top of display, something that has been confirmed by OnePlus. It doesn't state the IP rating except that it is good enough for you to use it under the rain. This opens up the possibility of underwater video recording and it offers peace of mind if you're taking your phone with you to the beach or at the swimming pool.

The photos give us a preview of the OnePlus 6's camera capabilities, and the metadata suggests the device will sport a 16MP primary camera. The teaser doesn't mention if it will be IP57, IP67 or IP68 certified but being a flagship smartphone one can expect it to be nothing less that IP67.
