WWE changes course, Undertaker now faces Chris Jericho in Saudi Arabia

However, several other WWE superstars are also considered contenders right now.

The Greatest Royal Rumble card includes John Cena vs. It's probably no surprise that the man leading the field as the favorite to win it is Braun Strowman.

Instead, Chris Jericho, who was initially expected to compete in the first ever 50-Man Royal Rumble Match, will step in. Chris Jericho, who was recently announced as an entrant, is at 16 to 1 odds right now. The closest they have previously come was a triple threat match at Survivor Series in 2009 with The Big Show also competing.

With so many title matches booked on the Greatest Royal Rumble, you might think ticket prices would match the quality of the show.

WWE.com reported on Wednesday the storyline reason for the change was Rusev's wife Lana publicly campaigning on Twitter for Rusev to be pulled from the match as she anxious for his safety.

It's worth mentioning that only 20 superstars have officially been named for the match and that Braun Strowman is not among them, yet.

Daniel Bryan, Kurt Angle, Baron Corbin and all three members of the New Day are among those confirmed to be entered in the largest rumble in WWE history.

In storyline, WWE made the change because Lana, Rusev's real-life wife, talked to WWE officials and refused to let Rusev compete in a Casket Match.

This week, Rusev quickly went from having a casket match against The Undertaker at the Greatest Royal Rumble at the King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on April 27, to being removed from the match entirely and potentially leaving the company altogether.
