Conor McGregor's Manager Issues Statement on Media Day Rampage

UFC star Conor McGregor is facing assault and felony criminal mischief charges after allegedly attacking a bus full of fellow fighters at Barclays Center Thursday night. Following McGregor's takeaway, McGregor mentioned his frustration on social media but then made a decision to crash the UFC 223 media event in, reportedly, a response for another incident that happened between his ally Artem Lobov and Nurmagomedov.

McGregor answered, "Yes, your honor" when the judge asked Friday whether he understood orders to stay away from the alleged victims in the case.

A second mixed martial arts fighter, Cian Cowley, faces three criminal mischief, one assault and one reckless endangerment charge, police said.

White, after telling reporters Wednesday that he believed "100 percent" that McGregor would fight in the UFC again this year, was outraged by the Thursday incident.

"What the f-", Chiesa said.

The Irish father-of-one was also captured on surveillance throwing a chair toward a passenger window of the bus and punched a member of a security detail, his Brooklyn arraignment heard Friday. Three fighters were scratched from the card due to the brouhaha. His next court hearing will be on June 14.

Footage purportedly showing McGregor throwing objects at the vehicle appeared on social media and the NYPD later confirmed he turned himself in for questioning. The 29-year-old Russian recently had a public confrontation with Artem Lobov, a friend and training partner of McGregor's who was scratched from his fight at UFC 223 because of his involvement in the incident.

White called it "the most disgusting thing that has ever happened in the history of the company", and warned that McGregor would likely face legal action. His bail was set at $25,000.

Lightweight Michael Chiesa sustained facial cuts and flyweight Ray Borg multiple corneal abrasions.

"As you can imagine, he's going to be sued beyond belief", White said.

"All the guys that ended up not getting fights, they'll all get paid for not getting fights", White said. McGregor profanely responded on Twitter and wrote, "You'll strip me of nothing". McGregor hasn't fought for UFC since November 2016 and was stripped this week of the 155-pound championship he had never defended.

Instead, he took up professional boxing and fought Floyd Mayweather for a huge payday, with American Tony Ferguson stepping in and winning the interim lightweight belt by submitting Kevin Lee.
