WEDDING CRASHER: Drunk bride crashed vehicle en route to nuptials, cops say

It's unclear whether the wedding went ahead.

The 32-year-old was reportedly on her way to get married when she was detained. Young was pulled over by police and arrested and charged with a DUI.

He added, "The woman told us she was on her way to her wedding".

Yep, that is not a scene out of a comedy film, that actually happened.

A photo of a bride getting arrested for DUI en route to her wedding is going viral. So that's the only good news in this story.

People reports that Young had only a short stint behind bars with KVOA.com confirming that she was released when her fiancé arrived and a criminal citation was signed.

Her flawless day ended in handcuffs and behind bars before she could even say yes. The arresting officer, Sgt. Chriswell Scott took to Twitter about the incident, tweeting and deleting, "Don't drive impaired, till death do we part doesn't need any help".

The crash took place around 10:30am in Marana, Arizona, at the intersection of Orange Grove and Thornydale, about 30 miles from Tuscon. No word yet if Young eventually made it to her wedding or if her groom is still waiting for her at the alter.
