Tiffany Haddish Steals Oscar Spotlight In Recycled Dress, Efforts To Meet Streep

The Girls Trip actress and Academy Awards presenter made quite the entrance in a gorgeous off-white embroidered dress with a matching floral black bolero and a gold piece of jewelry in her hair.

"My whole team told me, 'Tiffany, you can not wear that dress on 'SNL, ' you already wore it". "I'm so happy the world is finally being exposed to [my work]", she said.

The "Girls Trip" star wore a dress that cost more than her mortgage to the premiere of the hit film in July. She said she wore the dress to honor his roots.

"This is a $4,000 dress!" You know, the kind you only wear to go from the bedroom to the bathroom and back.

The comedic juggernaut had no time for painful heels but plenty of time to ask Meryl Streep to be her "momma one day" and she did it all with a gown we've seen before. "Real talk. You might see this dress in two sketches tonight, okay?"

She continued, "If someone invites me to a bar or bat mitzvah, guess what I'm wearing to it?"

Tiffany Haddish is here to prove that if you love an outfit, you can wear it as many times as you like. After posing for hours on the red carpet wearing stilettos, we can understand why she wanted to put on something a little less painful. Gary Oldman, winning best actor for Darkest Hour, quipped, "I'm not going to get the ski" amid his rambling speech. "Where's the NDA and I ain't never saying her name out loud again'".

Shoutout to Haddish for showing off her heritage and making us all proud.
