Barack Obama's Office Under Investigation After Receiving White Substance In Package

Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating a suspicious package filled with white powder shipped to the building in Washington, DC where former President Barack Obama leases an office.

The substance was quickly cleared from the building and was found to be nonhazardous. Meanwhile, local police and fire crews, the Secret Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded. The non-profit World Wildlife Fund owns the building and also has its headquarters there.

Fire and EMS Battalion Chief Edward Smith said the powder was delivered in a letter from Hong Kong and had no return address. The former president lives nearby with his family in the Kalorama neighborhood. It is located in Northwest D.C., according to the local affiliate.

The substance is thought to be baby powder.

The incident comes just one day after a white substance was sent along with a threatening note to Donald Trump Jr's wife in NY.

"Their professionalism under pressure made a rough day manageable", Donald Trump Jr. tweeted.

Brendan Rohr, a spokesman for WWF, told The Hill that the building returned to normal operations after authorities determined that the substance was not harmful.
