UNC Basketball: Two Tar Heels named to Wooden Award Midseason Top 25

He also made Big 12 history after becoming the first freshman to earn five Player of the Week awards. Young has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week on November 13, Nov. 27, December 18, Dec. 27 and January 1. The National Ballot consists of 15 top players who have proven to their universities that they are also making progress toward graduation and maintaining at least a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
