Israel PM Netanyahu to arrive on Monday on six-day India trip

Acclaimed mentalist Lior Suchard appears to have met his match: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli Prime Minister would be accompanied by a business delegation.

Last summer, Narendra Modi became the first sitting Indian prime minister to tour Israel.

Rupani was quoted by NDTV: "According to the tentative schedule, Modi and Netanyahu would first visit the Sabarmati Ashram on their arrival here on January 17".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Netanyahu will hold talks on Monday covering entire expanse of the ties and explore new areas of cooperation to further deepen the "very very special relationship", the External Affairs Ministry said.

Bhaskar said the ties between the two countries have been expanding in the areas of agriculture, water, innovation, entrepreneurship development, space, education, culture, homeland security and defence.

Now trade between the two countries is around 5 billion USA dollars, of which three billions is for exports.

He refused to give defence trade figures saying "they are not exactly measured like that and as such (there are) no exact figures".

India in December voted in favor of the UN General Assembly resolution condemning the United States for its decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

"These issues have set mechanism".

Israel's Saare Tzedek hospital would be signing an agreement with India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as well. "I am sure you will be updated on that". Netanyahu explained in Jerusalem on Thursday that the two may meet before March. It was decided that both Prime Ministers should exchange visits.

Modi had visited the Jewish state in July previous year, becoming the first Indian premier to do so. "My visit to India is the other one", Netanyahu said addressing the Government Press Office's annual end-of-year reception for the foreign press corps on Wednesday. Modi and he will also visit the Center of Excellence in Vadrad and inaugurate a Center of Excellence for date palms in Bhuj via video conference. They will also visit the iCreate innovation campus and centre.

The visiting dignitary will meet the Jewish community leaders. Israeli PM will woo Bollywood in a "Shalom Bollywood" event.
