Norway's PM makes business case of 'green economy' to Trump

Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg announced on Wednesday the country would purchase 52 F-35 fighter jets from Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT), calling it the country's "largest, single public investment ever", as well as P-8 maritime aircraft from Boeing (NYSE:BA).

The presser, however, wasn't done.

The White House has declined to confirm reports that Mueller plans to seek an interview with the president, although a spokeswoman has said the White House is cooperating fully with the special counsel's investigation.

In true Trumpian fashion, he framed his answer through the lens of eternal rival, Hillary Clinton.

The F-35 is already estimated to be the costliest single project in U.S. military history, with an estimated price tag of $406.5 billion, according to the Selected Acquisition Report submitted to Congress in July. "I hope we do", Trump said.

"We need the wall for security", Trump said.

"It wasn't a major topic, I must tell you, we talked about other things, including mostly trade", said Trump, who boasted that the U.S. had a trade surplus with Norway.

"For 11 months, we've had this phony cloud over this administration", Trump said.

Solberg jumped in to help Trump after his reply Wednesday, adding that the American troops stationed in Norway are "part of the deterrence strategy that makes sure that we don't have a war in the future".

"It has hurt our government".

Whether President Trump is a Call of Duty fan-or he just misspoke-has yet to be determined.

Democrats' central demand is legislation to preserve the Obama-era DACA program, which was ended by Trump a year ago and shields illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children from deportation.

"I'll see what happens". No collusion. When I watch you interviewing all the people leaving their committees, I mean, the Democrats are all running for office, trying to say this that - but bottom line, they all say there's no collusion.

Muller has interviewed a number of Trump's senior aides and associates in recent months, including White House adviser Jared Kushner, also the president's son-in-law, former chief of staff Reince Priebus, communications director Hope Hicks and White House counsel Don McGahn.
