TCL, a China-based Television manufacturer has unveiled its TCL Roku 5-series and 6-series along with the TCL Alto Smart Soundbar at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 (CES 2018). The new lineup includes refreshed Roku smart TVs for the 2018 year, including models that pack Dolby Vision HDR support and the new iPQ Engine. Other than this, the 6-series and the 5-series comes with the iPQ Engine for precise colour replication and HDR Pro Gamma to significantly improve HDR performance in any setting. It will feature integration with Roku Connect and Roku Entertainment System, allowing your TV to be controlled by voice commands.

The vanguard of this new line, the TCL Roku Smart Soundbar is a collaboration with the Streaming giant, Roku.

The first half of 2018 will see the debut of the 6-Series, an evolution of the company's P6 line in 65- and 55-inch sizes.

The 6-Series will ship in spring 2018 in both 55- and 65-inch sizes.

Though full specs have not been announced yet, the Roku Smart Sound Bar will use Roku Connect to pair with other compatible AV products for a whole home entertainment solution. The firm announced that it is collaborating with TCL to build the "TCL Roku Smart Soundbar", coming in late 2018.

The Company said that since the relationship with Roku was first brokered four years ago TCL and Roku have made great strides to provide industry-leading smart TVs to consumers. In addition, if users pair the sound bar with a TCL Roku TV, voice control can then be extended to the display. TCL ended 2017 as the #3 smart TV brand in the USA, with all of its smart TVs powered by the Roku OS.
