Williams, who had to stop taking her anticoagulant medications leading up the delivery, was right, and had indeed developed several clots in her lungs. I can compete - but I don't want to just compete, I want to do far better than that and to do so I will need a little more time.

"Sometimes I get really down and feel like, 'Man, I can't do this, '" Williams confessed.
