PUBG New Update Adds Two New Crates, Report Cheaters Function

PUBG New Update Adds Two New Crates, Report Cheaters Function

Not content with attempting to polish up the Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, developer Bluehole confirmed today that it's also preparing to launch a new update for the PC version of the hit title. Though the game exists in Xbox Game Preview, it was rather clear that the game wasn't ready.

For comparison's sake, 7.4 percent of all loot boxes in Overwatch contain one of the game's rarest Legendary items, a Legendary Hearthstone card appears in one of every 20 packs and golden Legendary cards appear about once every 230 packs, and it's thought that rare Exotic items in Destiny 2 appear roughly once in every eight to 10 boxes.

Below you will find quality of life fixes, as well as our efforts to resolve known memory crashes, and incremental improvements to performance.

Another big new feature of the update is the replay report tool, which allows you to tag cheaters from the replay screen.

But on the PC, the game has sold over 27.8 million copies according to SteamSpy's latest data, with a margin of error of roughly 160,000 units.

One other notable change is an increase to the damage players can deal against vehicles. The patch states that they will be making sure to watch the feedback on this change and will be making more balance changes in the future.

There are a number of smaller tweaks and optimizations to the game that will be rolling to the test server.

This clever combination of elements makes for some extremely intense cat-and-mouse encounters: edge-of-your-seat scenarios that are largely retained in PUBG's recent Xbox One release.

For a long time, Minecraft was considered as the best selling PC game of all time. That said, with the amount of glitches they have to fix on the Xbox (even with this patch), it might be a good year or two before the console version comes out in full. The game has already come out of Early Access on Steam, but there is clearly a lot of work to do on both platforms.
