Margot Robbie to attend Australian Premiere of I, Tonya

Margot Robbie to attend Australian Premiere of I, Tonya

"Look, Tonya Harding, she's got a pipe - go get her", he shouted to distract a theater employee in a pre-show gag. Harding also admitted that the attack made her fearful for her own safety and that of her fellow figure skaters.

Harding was subsequently blacklisted from ice skating - and Weir says it should stay that way.

"Nancy Kerrigan was the victim, she was abused she was attacked".

"No, I did not know anything prior", she said.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "You're about to be in a comic book film; now here's the worst-case scenario of how big and scary it can get. It took me so long to be able to ask for people to help me".

Harding, now 48, was banned for life from the U.S. Figure Skating Association after opponent Nancy Kerrigan was attacked by an unidentified assailant in January 1994 as she was leaving rehearsal.

Having seemingly had enough, Tonya replied: "Thank you so much, I appreciate being on your show but I think I'm going to have to say have a good night".

Harding said that she hoped her movie would help others, however GMB host and noted troll Piers Morgan was not about to let Harding off so easy, accusing her of playing the victim card.

After taking a moment to respond, Harding then threatened to end the interview. Morgan pressed. "You didn't have any knowledge at all, it was pure coincidence?"

"Is that me?!" she said of Janney.

"No, I did not", she snapped before ending the interview.

Allison Janney won for her portrayal of Hardings mother LaVona Golden.

After a beaming Harding appeared front and center at the film's LA premiere last month, her public rehabilitation from pariah to honored guest continued at the Golden Globes.
