Pink will sing national anthem at Super Bowl

Doylestown native Pink will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" as part of the Super Bowl's pregame show on Sunday, Feb. 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the National Football League announced today.

The rockets' red glare will bear a trace of pink when this year's Super Bowl celebrations finally roll around.

Singer P!nk will perform the USA national anthem at next month's Super Bowl 52 in Minneapolis, the National Football League said yesterday.

Pink released her seventh studio album, Beautiful Trauma, in October.

The three-time Grammy-winning artist will sing before kickoff on February 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The national anthem has previously been sung by the likes of Lady Gaga, Idina Menzel, Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Cher, Faith Hill, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera.

A couple days ago, Pink may have foreshadowed this announcement in a tweet about her excitement for 2018: "I'm really looking forward to 2018".

We have no doubt that both Wailes and Pink will do an unbelievable job when the Super Bowl rolls around next month.

This year's 2018 Super Bowl Pepsi Halftime show headliner is Justin Timberlake, back for the second time. "She should be doing the half time show but I'll take it", one wrote, while another noted "I finally care about about SPORTS BALL!"
