LG HU80KA 4K Projector Stands Upright

LG touts that the company's engineers have challenged themselves to come up with the 4K projector that is smaller than the others on the market without letting down on the performance. The company wants to tap the growing user base under the Home entertainment systems market for compact and affordable projectors.

The LG HU80KA can create a 150-inch screen at an wonderful 2,500 lumens - LG's brightest projector. The portable size of the projector and its unique upright position has been made possible by its in-built mirrorless I-shaped engine that enables it to project correct images whether it is placed on the floor, wall mounted or hanged from the ceiling. LG HU80KA is roughly half the size of competing 4K projectors.

LG HU80KA projector includes a webOS 3.5 smart TV interface to access online 4K streaming services.

LG says that its the design and build "gives the projector the capability to show flawless images whether it is placed on the ground, mounted on the wall or hanging from the ceiling". Also, it can be connected to external speakers or soundbars through optical output, Bluetooth or HDMI.

The 4K UHD projector also comes with two powerful 7W speakers that can deliver really good sound output.

Besides, LG will also be showcasing its portable MiniBeam Projector with webOS 3.5 and Full HD 1080p resolution at the CES 2018.

CES 2018 has become a thing of the past because all the big players, especially LG is busy making announcements one after the other even before the show floor is open. The company will showcase its 2018 projector lineup at the CES 2018.

Besides being LG's first UHD projector, the LG HU80KA is also the brightness one with 2500 lumens of brightness. Stay tuned with us for more reports on it.
