Destiny 2 Xbox One X Enhancement Update Live

Destiny 2's first expansion is due out later today. When is Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris out? Bungie recently performed some maintenance on the game's servers, but more downtime is scheduled for tomorrow, which is typical on launch day. An hour later, anyone still playing the game will be booted to the title screen, and Curse of Osiris will become available to download and install. We'll be walking you through all of these in great detail, just as soon as we experience them for ourselves. Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian's journey with all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, Mercury.

The expansion is now live on PS4, Xbox One and PC, so no matter which version of Destiny 2 you own, there's plenty of new content to check out (providing you already preordered the Expansion Pass for $34.99).

A look at two of the announced Strikes for Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris have been released in screenshot form. New Crucible arenas and co-op activities are also being added.

The official description reads: "The Vex are on the march, and our only hope to stop them may lie with Osiris, the notorious heretic and most powerful Warlock in the history of the Last City". But after a few weeks to blow through the content, max out their power levels and beat the raid, many Destiny 2 players were left with few reasons to keep coming back.

You can read the full patch notes on Bungie's website, but there are several additions and changes worth highlighting. However, make sure you have enough storage space.
