PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Creative Director Brendan Greene has confirmed that PUBG will actually run at 30 frames per second across all Xbox One consoles and won't run at 60fps on Xbox One X as originally thought. They'll certainly be keen on trying, though.

"Definitely on Xbox One X, 60 FPS", Greene said in the latest issue of GamesTM, as reported by Wccftech.

The upcoming desert-themed map for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will be seen in action for the first time next week, with the map's first official gameplay reveal scheduled to premiere during The Game Awards in the USA on Thursday, December 7. Evidently, it seems that wires got crossed somewhere, and Greene notes that Bluehole is "exploring options to increase" the game's frame rate.

Not only is the hugely popular arena shooter slated to exit early access on PC by the end of the month, but it will also be arriving on consoles. He says they haven't made 4k textures yet, and it will take time for them to make 4k textures but it's going to take them time. "Fuck" cause it's a lot of work.
