Final Fantasy XV's December Update Will Let You Switch Between Party Members

Final Fantasy XV has been released exactly one year ago on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and since then, the team has been improving the game with several updates. Gladio, Prompto, and Ignis will play as they do in their DLC episodes.

The support won't be ending there for Final Fantasy 15, as director Hajime Tabata has said that there will be at least three more story DLCs released throughout 2018.

We are not saying that we are going to simply pull out additional fixed DLC, we are planning to do things that are deeply involved in the core story of the game.

The game is now available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC launch slated for early 2018.

Noctis' preferred style of fighting differs quite significantly from what other "Final Fantasy" protagonists use. However, owners of the game are in for some free content that will be coming to the game via an update next month, which allows you to swap between characters freely. You could already get a taste of what it's like to be Prompto or Gladiolus with their respective DLC packs, but Square Enix will soon let you swap to play as any of your party members at any point during the main game. The PC version launches in early 2018.
