The doctors made a decision to release her from the hospital not long after they put a cast on her wrist.

The GRAMMY victor thanked her fans on Twitter for their well wishes on Sunday morning, also expressing gratitude for her husband.

"Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody".

Due to her injuries, Underwood was forced to cancel her performance at the Country Rising benefit concert tonight in Nashville, according to the Tennessean.

Underwood, 34, lives in Nashville with her husband, Mike Fisher. "This has been a year marked by tragedy, impacting countless lives, including so many in our country family", Underwood said in part.
