Las Vegas Shooter's Brother Arrested For Child Pornography

Las Vegas Shooter's Brother Arrested For Child Pornography

Authorities: Brother of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of possessing child porn.

Our sources say the investigation began before his brother, Stephen, shot up the Vegas music festival earlier this month.

Bruce Paddock had been "squatting" inside the business on San Fernando Road following his eviction from a residence, police said.

Authorities are examining every aspect of Paddock's life - from his family, friends and associates to his travel patterns, health and finances.

Almost a month after the deadly shooting, however, Las Vegas and federal authorities have struggled to come up with a motive for the deadly shooting.

On the night of October 1, Bruce Paddock's older brother, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock fired on a concert crowd from his hotel room in Las Vegas.

Paddock - who left no writings or other evidence about his planned massacre - is not the first mass killer to destroy or hide digital clues, ABC News reported. The official said the child porn case predates the shooting.

It was not immediately clear Wednesday if he has retained an attorney. The evidence was discovered after his eviction.

Sources also informed them that prior to Stephen Paddock's mass shooting, police were attempting to locate his brother, Bruce, without success.

Paddock committed the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history Sunday night when he shot into a crowd killing 49 people and wounding over 500.
