Deer meat sandwiches return to Arby's locations nationwide

Sound tasty? There are 173 Arby's locations in mi.

The famed "home of the meats" is expanding that title to include deer and elk.

Starting on Saturday, Oct. 31, Arby's customers can pick up a venison sandwich at any of its 3,300 locations in America.

In what looks like is becoming an annual Arby's tradition, the chain will re-release their venison burger nationwide - which they debuted last fall - while also testing elk sandwiches in three states.

They will only be available while supplies last and are expected to run out quickly.

Arby's deer-filled Venison Sandwich will be making a return later this month to kick off hunting season.

In other good news that's sure to spruce up any deer camp, Arby's has announced it will continue the success it had with venison sandwiches past year, and they're even taking it up a notch this hunting season.

The venison sandwiched, tried in a limited release a year ago, will be available in all 3,300 stores across the nation, while the elk will be available in three restaurants in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. As PennLive notes, when the promotion was introduced past year, it was only available at locations in the southwest part of Pennsylvania and four other states.

Arby's is bringing back its extremely popular venison sandwiches, only this time they will be available nationwide. "It's a ideal example of the level of innovation coming from our teams and our commitment to creating experiences that guests can only get at Arby's". When it was introduced in 2016, it was only available at restaurants in five states. It was made with pork loin that was wrapped in pork fat that was smoked for eight hours, thinly sliced and topped with melted provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, banana peppers, red wine vinaigrette and garlic aïoli, all on a toasted sub roll for $5.49.
