Odell Beckham Jr. Underwent Surgery for Ankle Injury

Odell Beckham Jr. Underwent Surgery for Ankle Injury

Giants receiver Brandon Marshall will undergo season-ending surgery Tuesday on his injured ankle, he announced on his Instagram account Monday night.

Before exiting the contest, Beckham had a field day torching Los Angeles' defense, as he caught five passes for 97 receiving yards and a touchdown. They're already sitting at 0-5 and aren't looking good in any facet of the game.

Marshall, who is now on his second team in the NY area, has matriculated into the media as well during the latter stages of his career, working on "Inside the NFL", Showtime's popular weekly series.

Eagan signed with the Giants in August and joined the practice squad in September. For anything full market value, the Giants will want to wait and see Beckham return to health and regain his game-breaking form. To fill the ranks at receiver, they re-signed Tavarres King, who played for them last season and was cut at the end of the preseason, and promoted rookie Travis Rudolph from their practice squad. Clay was hurt while being tackled along the sideline after making a 24-yard catch in the first quarter against the Bengals. This season, Beckham's salary of $1.8 million ranked 43rd among all National Football League receivers, leading to speculation he stayed away from the voluntary OTAs as a form of contract protest.

Both players will have surgery and are done for the season, having been put on injured reserve.

"Everyone is disappointed, I am aware of it", he said.

Chiefs receiver Chris Conley also is out for the season after rupturing his left Achilles tendon Sunday. "Everyone is irritated, I am aware of it".

McAdoo admitted his team has slumped in the fourth quarter, blowing leads in each game. "We'll handle those issues in house", he said.
