Trump tweets 'only one thing will work' with North Korea

Keeping his strong stance against North Korea, US President Donald Trump has said that all diplomacy with the Asian country has failed. "We have the world's great military people in this room, I will tell you that".

On Saturday, Trump made a similar comment on Twitter about how negotiations have failed for 25 years and said "only one thing will work" with North Korea.

GOP Sen. Ron Johnson says "there is no viable military option".

Trump did not clarify what "one thing" he was talking about, but his tweets have suggested the prospect of military confrontation with North Korea.

President Donald Trump addressed questions Saturday evening about his relationships with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and White House chief of staff John Kelly amid reporting about tensions among his top aides.

When asked by a reporter how seriously Americans should take the comment, Sanders responded, "I think you can take the president protecting the American people always extremely serious".

Then, when asked what he meant by "storm", he ominously answered, "You'll find out".

Democrats are calling this a new low and Republicans are cheering this as the president making good on a campaign promise.

Another said: "I wonder if Melania Trump wears big sunglasses in public so no one can see her rolling her eyes at the B.S. her hubby says".

As Mrs. Trump becomes more comfortable with her new role, she is speaking out about how she envisions using that platform to help children.

Before they could answer, Trump said, "Maybe it's the calm before the storm".

Trump's latest Twitter rant comes after the 71-year-old said the United States would "totally destroy" North Korea if necessary to protect itself and its allies from Kim Jong Un's nuclear threats.

The move would not break the US's agreement with Iran, but it would start a 60-day clock for a congressional review period in which legislators could choose to re-impose sanctions, putting a spanner in US-Iran relations.

Lendman argued that during his election campaign, Trump had promised to improve relations with Russian Federation and ease tensions with North Korea, and even have a sit down with the North Korean leader.
