Authorities in London detained a man after he drove his auto through a group of pedestrians near London's Natural History Museum, according to officials.

British Prime Minister Theresa May thanked the first responders and the public for their help and said her thoughts were with the injured.

She said: "I was getting off the Tube at South Kensington station, the doors opened and about 50 people came running down the Tube station escalator".
