BlackBerry "Krypton" Coming Up As Blackberry "Motion", Leaked Images Show Thick Bezels

BlackBerry

Blass has posted an image of an upcoming BlackBerry smartphone, which he according to him is the alleged upcoming BlackBerry Motion. The device is expected to have a 1080p display, a mid-range Snapdragon processor and a 4000 mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner is located right underneath the Home button, which could turn out to be just a touch, and hardware.

It has a 3.5mm jack too.

We can see from the image that the new device won't have the famous BlackBerry keyboard like the KEYone, opting instead for a full touchscreen display, which is flanked by rather sizable bezels by today's increasingly strict standards. The BlackBerry Motion will house a giant 4000mAh battery for 26 hours of continuous backup.

While BlackBerry is yet to confirm the rumours, a spokesperson for TCL - the firm behind the smartphone - has previously said that the firm will reveal a new device this month. But these days most flagship phones sport such a rating, so that might not be enough for the BlackBerry Motion to stand out in the Android market.

The only detail confirmed by Mr Mahieu is that the smartphone will be water resistant, which he told Engadget.

Separately, inspired by the response to the KeyOne, TCL Communications has announced an all-new BlackBerry KeyOne Black Edition. There is no physical keyboard on the BlackBerry Motion, either built into the bottom or as a slide-out accessory.

Citing a reliable source, PhoneArena says that BlackBerry Motion will come to the USA, where it will be available on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. It's similar to what we see from other manufacturers most of the times. Fanboys wanted a Black edition for a long time, and it seems like the company has just made a decision to fulfill their wish.
