Rosie O'Donnell's Ex-Wife Michelle Rounds Dead at 46

O'Donnell said that she was "saddened" by the news and sent her wishes to the family of Rounds. She was 46 years old.

According to TMZ, Michelle Rounds, ex-wife of entertainer Rosie O'Donnell, was found dead in her home on Monday in an apparent suicide.

Rounds and O'Donnell first started dating in 2011 and married the following year. Michelle will be remembered for her lovely smile and handsome long flowing red hair; her signature some would say.

"I am saddened to hear about this bad tragedy", O'Donnell, 55, said in a statement to Us Weekly on Friday. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families, ' she said. The former couple split in November 2014 and finalized their divorce in March 2016. However, a spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff's Department shared, "They are not calling this a suicide at this time".

Now that the tragic news has broken that Michelle Rounds, Rosie O'Donnell's ex-wife has died, a lot of people are wondering whether they had children together. The love she had for her family and friends was unconditional. It is not clear how she died or who called for help.

O'Donnell also retweeted a fan's message offering support and information on suicide prevention Friday. Back in 2015, when Rounds and O'Donnell were in a nasty custody battle over Dakota, Rounds was hospitalized after reportedly overdosing on pills.

Dax is one of Rosie's five children, although Dakota was the only child she adopted with Rounds.
