Rockstar bringing LA Noire to PS4, Switch and Xbox One

The game is planned for launch across Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and HTC Vive on November 14. It will be launched on November 14 with better visuals and more. This version of the game features seven of the game's original cases rebuilt specifically for VR.

Alongside the new console versions, Rockstar also announced L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files. First and foremost, all console re-releases of "LA Noire" come with the entire original game plus all additional content that was sold separately. Either way, it kind of sucks since the portability alone would make Switch versions of these games the definitive version. There will also be contextual touch screen controls. Like the other console versions, it gives the game, all add-ons, and new camera angle, like ones that are over-the-shoulder. It's even getting some special gesture-based controls for the Joy-Cons, which we hope lets you get seriously involved with questioning during interrogations.

L.A. Noire is one of my favorite games of all time. Hopefully, this won't have a negative impact on the development of this version of the game. However, it's certainly one that most gamers will be able to appreciate. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will include all of the expansions and a whole bunch of technical enhancements. It'll also run at 4K on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Visuals are enhanced with new lighting, cinematic camera angles, high-res textures, and more.

LA Noire's always occupied a unusual space in gaming history. Following release, the development team began working on a follow-up project called Whore of the Orient, but that was cancelled following the closure of the studio.

The game was a success due to this feature, and it shipped almost 5 million units both on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC.
