Britney Spears' Las Vegas show interrupted by stage jumper

Britney Spears' Las Vegas show interrupted by stage jumper

Venus don't mess around with security when big-name performers take the stage, and we imagine that goes double for a Las Vegas casino.

Spears was singing "Till the World Ends" when the man crept onto the stage and made his move, TMZ reported.

But she didn't seem to catch on until her dancers and other guards had him pinned down.

Confused, she asks them what's going on, and is clearly terrified when she asks her guard if the man had a gun. Even though he was being escorted away, the man still appeared to knee one of the guards on the way out. However, Spears is expected to continue on with her scheduled performances starting on Friday, Aug. 11.

While Brit was at the front of long catwalk, a handful of dancers and the star's security were forced to jump in to stop a man from reaching Britney.

There was a moment of fear and confusion at Britney Spears' Vegas show last night.

According to TMZ, citing unnamed law enforcement sources, the man who crashed the stage was asked by security to leave the crowd when he was acting disorderly. He broke free and they tackled him to the ground again.

Missed being on stage. ready for Vegas tonight! But her security team soon approached her, presumably informing her of the situation.

What do you think about Britney's stage intruder? She kept on performing, not actually realizing what was going on behind her. She later wrote in The Guardian: "My actions were intended as a non-violent, egg-based protest because I think Cowell has too much power and influence in the entertainment industry".
