DEADPOOL 2's Cable Looks Super Badass in First Image

DEADPOOL 2's Cable Looks Super Badass in First Image

The actor jokingly captioned the second photo, "DeadPool 2: Your premium #Cable provider". Ryan Reynolds is again serving as a producer on Deadpool 2 alongside X-Men franchise caretakers Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner.

Cable was born Nathan Summers - the son of Scott Summers aka Cyclops and his mother Madelyn Pryor, who was actually a clone of Jean Grey in an elaborate plot put together by Mr. Today, we have our first full fledged look at Josh Brolin's rendition of Cable and it is so uncannily similar to the comic book version.

Following last week's first image of Domino in Deadpool 2, we have another picture of one of the upcoming sequel's new characters.

We do know from the wording of Reynolds' up-close photo/tweet of Brolin that Cable, just like in his frequent appearances in the pages of "X-Men" and "X-Force" comics, will be from the future. And we cannot wait for the first trailer to drop to see him in action....

Ryan Reynolds is all set to reprise his role as the titular superhero, while John Wick director David Leitch will sit behind the camera for the project. Maybe he looks a little more World War Cable than Future War Cable, if you catch my drift.

Starring alongside Reynolds and Brolin will be Zazie Beetz as Domino and Hunt For The Wilderpeople's Julian Dennison in an undisclosed role.

With shooting on Deadpool 2 now underway, Brolin and co-star Ryan Reynolds have shared the first official photos of Cable's long-awaited big-screen debut. In 2004, he was teamed up with Deadpool and the duo's pairing became a fan-favorite, prompting the film to adopt him as a character.
